Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant to work in DST-SERB (Govt. of India) sponsored project sanction order No. SRG/2022/000792, titled “Understanding the role of Ubiquitously Transcribed Tetratricopeptide Repeat Containing, Y-Linked (UTY) in Epithelial-mesenchymal transition of oral cancer cells” under Dr. Manish Kumar (Principal Investigator), Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with project. Position is initially available for one year, which may be extended up to a maximum of September 2024, based on the candidate’s performance on yearly basis

Age limit :-Up to 35 years

Essential: B.Sc./B.Tech. or above in Science/Technology from a recognized University/Institution. Minimum 60% Marks in aggregate or CGPA of 7.0 and above at a 10 point. Experience in the Molecular biology laboratory.

Desirable: The applicant with a master’s degree in the relevant branch of Life Science with a sound background knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics and a hands-on experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques & good laboratory practices are encouraged to apply.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for personal interview in offline mode at AIIMS Bilaspur (H.P.) on 18.11.2022.

2. Reporting time for candidates on 18-11-2022 is till 11.00 am, after which no additional candidates would be entertained for the interview.

3. The above post is being filled-up purely on temporary basis and is co-terminus with the project. The candidate will have NO right to claim permanent Employment under AIIMS Bilaspur or continuation of his/her services in any another project.

4. No inquiries shall be entertained in this regard after the due date.

5. All educational professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/ University and fulltime.

6. No TA/DA will be admissible to appear in the interview, including SC/ST candidates.

7. The salary is a consolidated sum without any other benefits, and it is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, etc. of the candidates

. 8. Canvassing in any form will be disqualification. 9. Age/ Education qualification will be considered till the late date of the advertisement.

4. On the day of Interview: – The duly filled and signed original application form (Annexure-I) must be produced at the time of the interview along with One (1) set of Self Attested photocopies of Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates, PwBD certificate (in case applicable) etc. The same MUST be produced in original for verification at the time of the interview and relevant experience, on 14-11-2022 latest by 11.00 am.
