Online Recruitment Applications (ORA*) are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officer (General Wing) Class-I Gazetted (on Contract basis) in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, H.P. through ORA, which shall be available on the Atal Medical and Research University, HP website www.amruhp.ac.in up to 22nd August, 2022 till 11:59 P.M. (IST), thereafter link will be disabled.

No. of posts: 300 posts {UR =120, UR Ex-SM=34, UR WFF=3, UR PBD=10, SC UR=37, SC Ex-SM=6, S C W F F = 2 ST UR=18, ST Ex-SM=2, ST PBD=2, OBC UR=32, OBC WFF=1, OBC EX-SM=3, EWS=30}

Age: 45 years and below. Contractual Emoluments 60% of first cell of the applicable level of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100/-) +NPA of 20%. 33660+6732=40392/- Refer OM No. Health-A-B(15)9/2021 dated 10/06/2022 of Department of Health & Family Welfare, H. P. Govt.

(a) Essential Qualifications:-

(i) Recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Or Recognized Medical qualification as per Section-35 (1), 35 (8), 36 (1) and 37 (1) of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (b)

Desirable Qualifications:- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.

Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted. The candidates shall have to upload following self-certified documents along with application form:-

(i) Date of Birth (Matriculation Certificate/ Birth certificate issued by Registrar of Births & Death)

(ii) 10+2 Certificate

(iii) Marks sheet of all professional examinations (The final mark sheet of MBBS* showing grand total score )

(iv) Internship Completion Certificate

(v) Registration with Himachal Pradesh/any other state Medical Council

(vi) Reserved Category Certificate issued by authorized Revenue Officer/Executive Magistrate

(vii) Bonafide/Domicile Certificate issued by authorized Revenue Officer/Executive Magistrate

(viii) Character Certificate issued by authorized Revenue Officer/Executive Magistrate

(ix) Aadhar Card

(x) Screening Test Passed certificate issued by National Board of Examination (NBE) for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination of the session pertaining to the applicant. The NBE Certificate shall be required for all the applicants who have obtained their qualifying degree (MBBS) from a University outside India and not under the ambit of The Indian Medical Council Act, 1956/ The National Medical Commission Act, 2019. *Under the provision of The Indian Medical Council Act, 1956/ The National Medical Commission Act, 2019. (2) The candidate/applicant shall provide above documents in original for scrutiny on the date when he/she is required to be physically present at the venue of physically evaluation/document verification. A set of self-certified photocopies of all above these documents shall be submitted at the time of scrutiny of document/evaluation failing which their candidature will stand cancelled.

The candidates are also advised to remember their User ID(s) and password(s) earlier created by the candidates to log in to download their respective admit cards.

The recruitment will be subject to all court cases pending at Hon’ble High Court of HP with regard to recruitment of Medical Officers.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-

(1) The date of determining the eligibility of all candidates in respect of essential qualification(s), experience etc., if any, shall be reckoned as on the closing date i.e. 22nd August,2022 for submission of Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) on University’s website. 8

(2) If no post is reserved for a particular reserved category falling under vertical reservation, then such candidates can be considered against General / UR category, provided such candidates will have to fulfil the criteria, i.e. age limit, qualification etc., which are applicable to General category candidates. In other words, when a relaxed standard is applied in selecting SC/ ST/ OBC candidate, for example in the age limit, qualification etc. then such candidates would be deemed as unavailable for consideration against unreserved vacancies in accordance with the instructions of the Government (in the Department of Personnel) issued vide letter No. PER (AP)-C-F (1)-2/2001 dated 12th November, 2014.

(3) The decision of the selection committee regarding eligibility etc. of a candidate for evaluation/selection will be final and no correspondence / personal enquiries will be entertained.

(4) Onus of proving that a candidate has acquired requisite degree/ essential qualification by the stipulated date, shall be on the candidate and in the absence of proof to the contrary, the date as mentioned on the face of certificate/ degree or the date of issue of certificate / degree shall be taken as date of acquiring essential educational qualification. No extra opportunity shall be provided to the candidates to produce appropriate certificates at the time of evaluation.

(5) In respect of equivalent clause in Essential Qualifications, if a candidate is claiming a particular qualification as equivalent qualification as per the requirement of advertisement, then the candidate is required to produce order/ letter in this regard, indicating the Authority (with number and date) under which it has been so treated otherwise the Online Recruitment Application is liable to be rejected.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:-

1. The candidates must read instructions carefully, which are available on website of Atal Medical and Research University, HP before filling up Online Recruitment Application Forms (ORA) for the post(s) concerned.

2. Date for determining eligibility of all candidates in respect of essential qualification(s) and experience, if any, etc., shall be the prescribed closing date for submission of online recruitment applications (ORA) i.e. 22nd August, 2022.

3. The candidates must ensure their eligibility in respect of category, age and essential qualification(s) etc. as mentioned against concerned post in the advertisement to avoid rejection at later stage.

4. Incomplete Online Recruitment Applications submitted without requisite scanned photograph & scanned signatures of the size prescribed in application form, will be rejected straightway.

5. The benefit of reservation for various post(s) will be admissible only to the candidates, who are bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh in respect of categories, viz., S.C., S.T., O.B.C., E.W.S., Ex- Servicemen, WFF, and Persons with Benchmark disabilities.

6. The reserved category candidates belonging to other States will be treated as GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES and the benefit of reservation will not be admissible to such candidates.

7. Number of post(s) is tentative and may increase or decrease from time to time.

8. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to Court jurisdiction at Shimla.
