केंद्र सरकार : चुनाव की नियुक्ति पर नया विधेयक पेश किया

• केंद्र सरकार ने हाल ही में राज्यसभा में एक विधेयक पेश किया है जिसका उद्देश्य देश के मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त और अन्य चुनाव आयुक्तों की नियुक्ति की प्रक्रिया को संशोधित करना है।
• प्रस्तावित विधेयक में इन नियुक्तियों के लिए जिम्मेदार चयन समिति की संरचना में महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव शामिल हैं।
• विधेयक द्वारा प्रस्तावित उल्लेखनीय परिवर्तनों में से एक भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश को मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त और अन्य चुनाव आयुक्तों की नियुक्तियों का निर्धारण करने वाली चयन समिति से हटाना है।
