Applications on the prescribed form as per Annexure-I are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for filling up of 02 vacant posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) (Class- III) on contract basis and 03 vacant posts of Peon (Class-IV) on daily wage basis under the establishment of this pffice from amongst the Persons with Disabilities.

Total-02( 01-Deaf & hard of hearing 01-Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victim & muscular dystrophy. )
Essential Qualification(s):
1. Candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided that this condition shall not apply to bonafide Himachalis. OR Matriculation from recognized Board of School Education with one/ two year’s Diploma/ Certificate from an Industrial Training Institute, (ITI) in Information Technology (IT) & Information Technology/ Enabled Sectors (ITES) as notified by Direct General of Employment & Training (Govt. Of India) from time to time or three years Diploma in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ IT from a Polytechnic as approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
2. Computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi: Provided that visually impaired persons selected/ recruited under 1% quota will be exempted from acquiring Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology and passing of typing test instead they shall be imparted necessary basic training including computer training course by the Department concerned through Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Sundernagar or Nation Institute for the Visually Handicapped (NIVH), Dehradun or Composite Training Centre (CTC), Ludhiana. They shall have to complete the above training during which three chances will be afforded. If the incumbent fails to qualify the same his/her services shall be terminated. However, the incumbents already in the service shall be afforded sufficient number of chances to complete the aforesaid training: Provided further that differently abled persons who are otherwise qualified to hold clerical post as certified being unable to type, by the Medical Board may be exempted from passing the typing test. Explanation: The terms, “differently abled persons” does not cover visually impaired persons or persons who are hearing impaired but cover only those whose physical disability/ deformity permanently prevents them from typing. The above criteria for grant of exemption from passing the typing test shall also be applicable to the Skill Test Norms on Computers.
(b) Desirable Qualification(s): Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
(c) Other Eligibility Conditions: applicant should minimum The 40% permanent Disability Certificate issued by the competent Medical Board i.e. District Medical Board or above.
Age Limit:-The age of candidate should be between 18 and 45 years as on 01.01.2022, however upper age limit is relaxable for physically handicapped upto 5 years. possess
2.PEON, Class-IV (Non-Gazetted) (On ‘daily wage basis’ on daily of Rs. 350/- per day)
Total-03 (01-Deaf & hard of hearing 01-Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victim & muscular dystrophy. 01-Multiple disabilities from amongst as persons under clause (a) to (d) of Para 2.2 of the DoP instructions vide No. PER (AP)- C-F (4)-1/2020 dated 22.06.2020.)
a) Essential Qualification(s): Candidate should have passed 10th or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/ Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided that this condition shall not apply to bonafide Himachalis. Provided that visually impaired persons who have crossed the age of 35 (thirty five) years, competing under 1 quota reserved for visually impaired persons will be exempted from prescribed education qualification.
b) Desirable Qualification(s): Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
(c) Other Eligibility Conditions: The applicant should possess minimum 40% permanent Disability Certificate issued by the competent Medical Board i.e. District Medical Board or above.
Age Limit:- The age of candidate should be between 18 and 45 years as on 01.01.2022, however upper age limit is relaxable for physically handicapped upto years.

LATE DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS The applications along with relevant supporting documents should reach in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Solan, District Solan HP-173212 on or before 25.07.2022 by 05:00 PM. From Non-Tribal Areas positively and the candidates of Tribal Areas of Himachal Pradesh shall be given on additional time to submit their applications i.e. on or before 31.07.2022 by 05:00 PM. The applications received after the last date and incomplete applications shall be rejected straight way without any intimation to the candidate.
