Directorate of Energy Himachal Pradesh Apprenticeship 2026: Apply by 20 September 2026

Directorate of Energy, Government of Himachal Pradesh has invited applications for engagement of apprentices for a one-year apprenticeship training. Eligible female candidates can apply through the prescribed application form and submit it via email on or before 20 September 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

The apprenticeship offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300/-. Candidates are advised to carefully check the eligibility conditions, age limit, selection process and application instructions before submitting their applications.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years as on 01 January 2026.

A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwD candidates as specified in the notice.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the required educational qualification for the trade/discipline applied for. Candidates whose results are awaited are not eligible to apply.

The eligibility with respect to age and educational qualification must be fulfilled as on 31 July 2026.

Where CGPA, OGPA or letter grades are awarded in a Diploma/Degree examination, candidates must mention the equivalent aggregate percentage according to the norms adopted by the concerned University/Institute.

Gender Eligibility

Only female candidates are eligible to apply. Preference up to 80% of the vacancies shall be given to bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh.

Apprenticeship Training Duration and Stipend

The duration of the apprenticeship training is one year.

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of:

Rs. 12,300/- per month

No extension of apprenticeship will be provided after completion of the one-year apprenticeship training by the Directorate of Energy.

Selection Process

There will be no interview for selection. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted through a merit list based on marks obtained in Matriculation, 10+2/Diploma and the essential qualification prescribed for the relevant trade.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in the ratio of 1:3 for each seat.

Important Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates can apply for only one trade/discipline.
• Applications for more than one trade/discipline will be rejected.
• Candidates who have already undergone training or have one year or more of job experience after completion of their educational qualification are not eligible.
• Candidates must have an active email ID and mobile number valid for at least the next one year.
• Shortlisted candidates must produce original testimonials and certificates during document verification.
• A medical fitness certificate must be produced before joining.
• Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
• The applicant’s name should be written as per the Matriculation Certificate.
• Candidates must ensure their eligibility regarding category, age and essential qualifications before applying.

How to Apply for Directorate of Energy HP Apprenticeship 2026?

Eligible candidates are required to apply using the prescribed application form. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the Directorate of Energy, Himachal Pradesh.

1. Visit the official Directorate of Energy website.
2. Download the prescribed apprenticeship application form.
3. Fill in all required details carefully.
4. Enter the applicant’s name as mentioned in the Matriculation Certificate.
5. Provide educational qualification details, email ID and mobile number.
6. Attach the required documentary proof and certificates.
7. Affix the latest self-attested stamp-size photograph with a white background.
8. Check the application form carefully before submission.
9. Send the completed application to the prescribed email address before the deadline.

• Post-Graduation Degree certificate, wherever applicable
• Degree certificate, wherever applicable
• Diploma certificate, wherever applicable
• 10+2 certificate, wherever applicable
• Matriculation-related documents
• Category certificate, where age relaxation/category claim is applicable
• Latest self-attested stamp-size photograph with white background

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates should verify all information before finally submitting the application. If any information or claim made in the application is found to be false, the candidature may be cancelled and the candidate may be liable for prosecution.

The Directorate of Energy will not provide accommodation or transportation to shortlisted candidates.

The shortlisted candidate list will be displayed on the official website of the Directorate of Energy. No separate intimation will be provided to candidates.
