ECHS Shimla Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for Dental Officer & Peon Posts

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Shimla under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India has released the official recruitment notification 2026 for engagement of Dental Officer and Peon on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinic, Shimla. Eligible candidates can apply offline as per the prescribed format.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Dental Officer: BDS degree with minimum 3 years of experience after internship.
• Peon: Class 8 pass or GD Trade (Armed Forces) with minimum 5 years of experience.

Age Limit

The upper age limit will be applicable as per ECHS norms. Engagement will be for one year for Ex-Servicemen and 11 months for civil candidates or till attaining maximum age limit.

• Self-attested copies of educational certificates
• Work experience certificates
• Discharge Book / PPO (for Ex-Servicemen)
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• Two recent passport size photographs

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must submit the duly filled application form along with required documents to Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell), Shimla on or before the last date. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted.

Important Instructions

• Candidates must carry original documents at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right for permanent appointment.
• On Job Training (OJT) of 10 days will be mandatory for selected candidates.
