EMRS Selection Test 2024 Notification & Apply Online EKLAVYA MODEL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL SELECTION TEST- 2024 For Admission in class VI to EKLAVYA MODEL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOLS in the State of HP ( Only for Scheduled Tribe Students & Children who have lost their parents to LWE/ insurgencies /Covid, Children of widow, Children of Divyang Parent, Others e.g., land donor, orphan child etc. belongs to all Other Categories )

EMRS Notification 2024:-This is a common entrance test to fulfill 150 seats for class 6th on merit basis in the various schools established in the state of Himachal Pradesh under the scheme of Eklavya Model Residential Schools(EMRS) which has been implemented as a central sector scheme to provide quality education (Class 6th to 12th) to Scheduled Tribes (ST) students in remote areas & Children who have lost their parents to LWE/ insurgencies /Covid, Children of widow, Children of Divyang Parent, Others e.g., land donor, orphan child etc. belongs to all Other Categories in the state to enable them to access the best opportunities in education and to bring them at par with the general population. Board is conducting this EMRSST-2024 under the auspicious of ST Development Department of HP & on behalf of H.P.EMRS Management Society

EMRS Selection Test 2024 Notification & Apply Online :- HPBOSE

Eligibility:-

1.Must Have qualified 5th class exam a Govt. / Govt. aided/ Govt. recognized School/CBSE Affiliated School /Level B of NIOSOBE Programmed during academic session 2023-24.
2. Candidate who has not attended any school but studied at home is also eligible to apply for admission in Class VI (As per section 4 of Chapter II of RTE Act 2009). However, the parents/guardian of the candidate shall have to submit a self-declaration regarding the same. The format is available at FORM 27.2 Actual admission in Class-VI for the session 2024-25 will be based on the merit of the Selection Test provided that above mentioned conditions are fulfilled by the candidates.
3. Candidate should not be rusticated from any of the schools.
4.Appearing candidates of class 5th Exam till 31st march 2024 shall also be eligible for EMRSST-2024. However, such candidates will be eligible for counselling if they pass the class 5th class exam in the session 2023-24.
5. Candidate belonging to the reservation categories mentioned at table 9.4.I in respect of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply for admission.

Age Limit:-

General Eligibility Criteria:

1.The candidates belonging to the reservation categories mentioned at table 9.4, In respect of their domiciled State/UT are eligible to apply for admission.
2. A candidate should fulfill the age criteria as mentioned at point 9.1 Admission Eligibility. In case of doubtful cases of overage in comparison to the age recorded in the certificate, they may be referred to the District Medical Board for confirmation of the age. The decision of the Medical Board for confirmation of the age. The decision of the Medical Board will be treated as final and binding on both the parties
