In compliance to the letter No. HFW(DME)B(2)-163/2019 Vol-VIII-12883- 12890 dated 17.01.2023 received from the Director Medical Education& Research Himachal Pardesh Shimla, the Counselling to fill up the vacant post of Sr. Residents/Tutor Specialties will be held on 09.03.2023 at 11.00 A.M in the office of the undersigned. The applications are invited from the eligible candidates fulfilling the requisite qualifications and other eligibility conditions on the prescribed application form as per Appendix-‘A for the post of Senior Residents/Tutor Specialists in Pt. JLNGMC Chamba H.P. The interested candidates are required to submit their application forms duly filled in all respect in the office of the Principal Pt. JLNGMC chamba on before 10.02.2023 up to 5.00 PM through registered post/ official e-mail: [email protected], along with the requisite application fee Rs.1 500/- for General Category and Rs.1000/- for Reserved Category through Demand Draft in the favour of Principal Pt JLNGMC chamba . No application will be entertained beyond the last date i.e. 10.02.2023. The candidates intends to participate more than one spec1alties are required to submit their application along with requisite fee separately. The specialty wise/vacancy position is annexed as Appendix-“B’, the distribution of marks for the post of Sr, Resident/Tutor Specialist in terms of period of services of State for GD0’s is annexed as Appendix-‘C°) and eligibility criteria, other terms & conditions of selection/appointment is annexed as (Appendix-D) can be seen as well as download from the website of www.gmcchamba.edu.in. against the vacant post. The candidates are advise to remain in touch with the aforesaid for further updates.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION(S) / ELIGIBLITY :

For Clinical Subjects:Post Graduate (MD/MS) or DNB in the concerned specialty from a University/ Institution recognized/ permitted by the NMC/ Dental Council of India (DCI); failing which the PG Diploma (MD/MS) in the concerned specialty recognized/ permitted by the NMC/ DCI.

For non-clinical subjects:

(a) Recognized MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty or qualifications as prescribed in the concerned specialty by the Himachal Pradesh Medical Education Service Rules notified by the State Government from time to time and as per norms prescribed by the NMC.

(b) Provided that the percentage of Tutor Specialists in non-clinical subjects from non-medical backgrounds shall not exceed the limit prescribed as per the norms fixed by NMC.

(C) Further provided that GDOs/Direct Candidates who have furnished bond to serve the State after Post Graduation in lieu of sponsorship/stipend shall be required to serve a period of minimum one year in field posting or any such period which may be prescribed by the PG/SS policy as notified from time to time before being eligible for Senior Residency in IGMC Shimla.
