H.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Shimla has invited applications for 01 post of Senior Scale Stenographer (Group-C) on a regular basis. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed offline application format. The post carries Pay Matrix Level-11, Cell-1: ₹38,500–₹1,22,700.
This recruitment is being conducted under the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Recruitment, Promotion, Control, Conduct, Discipline and Appeal and other conditions of service of officers and other employees of the State/District Commissions) Rules, 2024, framed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
English Shorthand Speed
The required English shorthand speed is 100 words per minute (W.P.M.).
English Typing Speed
The required English typing speed is 40 words per minute (W.P.M.).
Computer Knowledge
Candidates should have adequate knowledge of word processing on a computer.
Who Can Apply?
The post is to be filled from among Junior Scale Stenographers/Stenotypists/Judgment Writers working in the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh, District Judiciary in the State, and Government/Semi-Government establishments, who have completed five (05) years of regular service or regular service combined with continuous ad hoc service in the feeder category.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only). The fee is to be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order in favour of:
Registrar, H.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Shimla.
Note: The application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
