High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla has released an official recruitment notification (Advt. No. HC-Misc./2026 (1)) for the posts of Stenographer (Group-C), Clerk/Proof Reader (Group-C), and Driver (Group-C). Eligible candidates can apply online through the official recruitment portal before the last date.

📌 Vacancy Details
1. Stenographer (Group-C)
- Total Posts: 01 (SC – Clearcut)
- Pay Level: Level 11 (₹38,500 – ₹1,22,700)
- Qualification: Graduation with 3 years’ experience as Steno-typist/Judgment Writer/Stenographer
- Skill Requirement: 100 WPM in English Stenography & 50 WPM typing speed
2. Clerk / Proof Reader (Group-C)
- Total Posts: 17 ((12 – UR (4 clearcut & 8 anticipated) ,02-SC (Clearcut) ,01-ST (Clearcut) ,02-EWS (Clearcut)
- Pay Level: Level 03 (₹20,200 – ₹64,000)
- Qualification: Graduation from recognized University
- Typing Speed: 30 WPM in English on computer
3. Driver (Group-C)
- Total Posts: 01 (UR – Clearcut)
- Pay Level: Level 05 (₹21,300 – ₹67,800)
- Qualification: Matriculation from recognized board
- Requirement: Valid LMV/Medium/Heavy Vehicle Driving License with minimum 3 years experience
💰 Application Fee
- Unreserved (UR): ₹450/- (Including GST)
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS of HP): ₹300/- (Including GST)
- Fee must be paid through online mode only.
🎯 Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- UR & EWS: 18 to 45 years
- Reserved Categories of HP: 18 to 50 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per HP Government rules.
