HP Electrical Inspectorate Driver Exam Syllabus & Pattern
Mode of Selection:
- Selection for appointment to the post shall be made on the basis of driving/ skill test of 85 marks conducted by the Committee, formed as per above cited notification of 16.09.2021 and followed by evaluation based on the parameters as specified in Appendix-l.
- Passing of practical test shall be mandatory. Test shall be based upon general control of vehicle, Track Driving test. Knowledge of Traffic signals, Parking on service dug (parking facing uphill, downhill), forward & reverse, etc.
- The documents shown at Sr. No (i) to (ix) of Appendix-t should be issued by the respective competent authorities as per Appendix-l. The Appendix-l&l are available on departmental website i.e. http://ei.hp.gOv.in/.
- Any changes in selection process notified at latter stage by the Government i.e. upto completion of selection, the test/ evaluation shall be conducted accordingly.
Evaluation: –The scrutiny, verification and evaluation of documents/ certificates shall be made by constituting a Committee of the departmental officers on the basis of marks obtained in the Driving Test /practical test. The date for evaluation of documents and driving skill test shall be intimated separately.
Driving Skill Test Test shall be based upon general control of vehicle, Track Driving test, Knowledge of Traffic signal, Parking on service dug (parking facing uphill, downhill), forward & reverse, etc.=>85 Marks
i)Weightage for the minimum educational qualification, prescribed in the Recruitment & Promotion Rules. (Percentage of marks obtained in the educational qualification would be multiplied by 0.02 For example, an individual has secured 50 % marks in the required educational qualification, he/she will be allowed 1 marks (50×0.02) =2 (two))
ii) Belonging to notified Backward Area or Panchayat, as the case may be. =(1 One)
iii) Land less family/family having land less than 1 Hectare to be certified member in Government/Semi-Government service=. 1 One)
iv) Non-employment Certificate to the effect that none of the family members is in Government/Semi-Government service. =1 (One)
v)NSS (at least one year)/certificate holder of NCC/The Bharat scout and guide/Medal winner in National level sports competitions. =1 (One)
vi) BPL family having annual income (from all sources) below Rs. 40,000/- or as prescribed by the Govt. from time to time. 2 (Two)
vii) Widow/divorced/destitute/single women. 1 (One)
viii) Single daughter/Orphan =1 (One)
ix) Experience uptoa maximum of 5 years in Govt./Semi-Govt. Organization relating to the post applied for (1 marks only for completed year) =5 (Five)
