कुटुम्ब न्यायालय क्या होते हैं?

What are family courts?
Family Courts were established under the Family Courts Act, 1984. By this Act, the court has been given the right to exercise its discretion to promote amicable settlements in family disputes. The court may lay down its own procedure for ascertaining the truth of the dispute. Lawyers are generally not present in disputes, but lawyers may be allowed to appear on complex matters. Services of families, associations and counselors can be taken while taking decisions on various subjects. Appeals can be made against the decisions and orders of the Family Courts in the High Court.
