HP Jal Shakti Vibhag Recruitment 2026: 40 Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter & Multi Purpose Worker Posts Announced
The Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag, Jal Shakti Division Chowari, District Chamba has released a recruitment notification for the engagement of 40 candidates on an honorarium basis. Eligible bona-fide Himachali candidates can apply for Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter, and Multi Purpose Worker posts.
Interested candidates must submit their application forms along with all required documents before the last date. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Educational Qualification
Para Pump Operator
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) and possess an ITI certificate in any of the following trades:
- Electrician
- Wireman
- Diesel Mechanic
- Pump Mechanic
- Motor Mechanic
- Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic
- Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
Candidates holding certificates under Government Skill Development Schemes in the above trades are also eligible.
Para Fitter
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th) along with an ITI certificate in Fitter or Plumber trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
Multi Purpose Worker
Candidates must have passed Middle Standard (8th Class) or its equivalent from a recognized school.
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 18 years and 45 years as on 27 June 2026.

- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate

Selection Process
The merit list will be prepared based on the documents submitted by the candidates.
If required, shortlisted candidates may have to appear for a Skill Test or Physical Test as decided by the department.
For Multi Purpose Worker posts, evaluation and shortlisting will be based on marks obtained in the Middle Standard (8th Class) examination only.

Applications must reach the office on or before 04 July 2026 by 4:00 PM.

- The number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per departmental requirements.
- Selected candidates can be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of Jal Shakti Division Chowari.
