Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag Nahan Recruitment 2026 notification has been released for the engagement of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Worker. Educational Qualification
1. Para Pump Operator
The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with ITI certificate in any of the following trades:
- Electrician
- Wireman
- Diesel Mechanic
- Motor Mechanic
- Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic
- Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
- Pump Operation & Maintenance
The ITI qualification should be from a recognized ITI. Candidates may also possess Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-mentioned trades under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government / Income Certificate, as applicable. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories are required to submit their respective category certificates.
2. Para Fitter
The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with an ITI certificate in the Fitter trade from a recognized ITI, or Matriculation (10th) with a certificate in the above-mentioned trade under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government / Income Certificate, as applicable.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories are required to submit their respective category certificates.
3. Multipurpose Worker
The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Middle Pass (8th) or its equivalent from a school duly recognized by the State Government.

Important Note for Multipurpose Worker Applicants
Candidates applying for the post of Multipurpose Worker must compulsorily attach the detailed marks sheet of Middle Standard (8th). In case the school concerned does not issue the marks sheet, a detailed marks certificate of Middle Standard issued by the Principal of the school must be attached.
The Education Board of Himachal Pradesh will use the marks obtained in the Middle Standard for evaluation criteria and shortlisting, if necessary. Marks obtained in any higher qualification will not be considered for this purpose.
Age Limit
The age limit for the applicants is 18 to 45 years as on 27 August 2026.
Application Fee
The notification does not mention any separate application fee. Candidates should carefully check the official engagement notice and application requirements before submitting the form.
Documents Required
Attested / self-attested copies of the following documents are required to be attached with the application form:
- Legitimate proof of age.
- Proof of BPL family, in case of BPL candidates, issued not later than six months.
- Proof of educational and technical qualification.
- Certificate of Bonafide of Himachal Pradesh, not older than one year.
- Character Certificate, issued not later than one year.
- Certificate and experience, if any, in the related field of JSV/HP PWD/CPWD/PSUs issued by the competent authority or outsourcing agency providing service in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag.
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), wherever applicable.
- Valid EWS Category Certificate issued by the competent authority, wherever applicable.

- Download/obtain the prescribed application form for the concerned post.
- Fill in all required details carefully.
- Attach the required self-attested/attested documents and certificates.
- Applicants applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post.
- Send the completed application form/documents through Post or submit them By Hand.

Important Instructions
- It will be the responsibility of the candidate to submit all requisite documents mentioned in the notice.
- Shortlisting/eligibility may be carried out if the number of applications received is higher than the number of available posts.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the documents submitted.
