घने जंगल / नींद में डूबे हुए-से

ऊँघते अनमने जंगल।

झाड़ ऊँचे और नीचे /चुप खड़े हैं आँख मीचे /

घास चुप है, कास चुप है /मूक शाल, पलाश चुप है

बन सके तो धँसो इनमें/धंस न पाती हवा जिनमें

सतपुड़ा के घने जंगल /नींद में डूबे हुए-से

ऊँघते, अनमने जंगल ।

सड़े पत्ते, गले पत्ते /हरे पत्ते, जले पत्ते

वन्य का पथ ढँक रहे-से / पंक-दल में पले पत्ते

चलो इन पर चल सको तो /दलो इनको दल सको तो

ये घिनौने घने जंगल

नींद में डूबे हुए-से

2. Translate the following passage into Hindi,
Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science for healthy living. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskit root ‘yuj meaning ‘to join’, to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. According to Yogic scriptures, the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with the universal consciousness, According to modern scientists, everything in the universe is just a manifestation of the same quantum firmament. One who experiences this oneness of existence is said to be ‘in Yoga’ and is termed as a yogi who has attained a state of freedom, referred to as mukti, nirvana, kaivalya, or mokşa.Yoga also refers to an inner science comprising a variety of methods through which human beings can achieve union between the body and the mind to attain self- realisation. The aim of Yoga practice (sadhana) is to overcome all kinds of sufferings that lead to a sense of freedom in every walk of life with holistic health, happiness, and harmony.

Translate the following passage into English वर्तमान समय में देश में अनेक प्रकार की स्वास्थ्य समस्याएं निरंतर बढ़ती ही जा रही हैं। आलस्य एवं अनुशासनहीनता विभिन्न प्रकार के रोगों के बढ़ने के प्रमुख कारण हैं। एक अस्त-व्यस्त, तनावपूर्ण तथा अनुशासनहीन जीवनशैली से देश में ‘डायबिटीज’ (मधुमेह) के रोगी बहुत तेजी से बेतहाशा बढ़ते चले जा रहे हैं। ‘इंटरनेशनल डायबिटीज फेडरेशन के अनुसार, वर्तमान में भारत में सात करोड़ व्यक्ति मधुमेह से प्रभावित हैं। वास्तव में भारत में यह संख्या इससे कई गुना हो सकती है, क्योंकि यह रिपोर्ट यह भी बताती है कि देश में 52 प्रतिशत भारतीयों को स्वयं के इस रोग से प्रभावित होने की जानकारी ही नहीं होती। भारत से अधिक ‘डायबिटीज’ के रोगी मात्र चीन (10 करोड़) में ही हैं। स्पष्ट है कि हमारे देश में मधुमेह के प्रति लोगों में जागरुकता की अत्यधिक कमी है, जबकि यह एक ऐसा रोग है, जिसे जीवन शैली में बदलाव लाकर तथा एक अनुशासित जीवन जीकर आसानी से नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है।
