HPBOSE Screening Test for Deputation to CBSE Sub Cadre 2026: Apply Online for 5623 Posts
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala has released the official notification for the Screening Test for Deputation to CBSE Sub Cadre 2026 for various teaching and non-teaching posts in CBSE-affiliated government schools of Himachal Pradesh. A total of 5623 vacancies have been announced for posts including Principal, Lecturer (PGT), TGT, JBT, Shastri, Language Teacher, Drawing Master, Physical Education Teacher, DPE and others.

- Online Application Start Date: 11 February 2026
- Last Date to Apply Online: 24 February 2026
- Online Application with Late Fee: 25 February 2026 to 27 February 2026
- Correction Window: 28 February 2026 to 01 March 2026
- Date of Screening Test: 22 March 2026 (Sunday)
Application Fee
- Screening Test Fee: ₹500/-
- Late Fee: ₹600/- (in addition to the examination fee)

Eligibility & Selection Process
Only eligible serving teachers working under the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh will be allowed to appear in the screening test as per the Recruitment & Promotion (R&P) Rules. HPBOSE will only conduct the screening test and prepare the merit list post-wise. Final selection, deputation, posting and eligibility verification will be done by the Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh.
How to Apply Online
Eligible candidates must apply online through the official HPBOSE website. Applications submitted through any other mode will be rejected.

- Fill the online application form
- Pay the examination fee online using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference
Important Instructions
- Applications without fee payment will be rejected.
- Correction in application form will be allowed only during the specified correction window.
- Merely applying online does not guarantee selection or deputation.
- Final deputation will be subject to availability of posts and approval by the competent authority.
