HPCU Research Associate Recruitment 2023:-Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate in the Major Research Project on the title “Developing a sustainable framework for Institutional Repositories in Universities” sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The Post will be filled up initially for 06 months from the date of joining and may be extended depending upon the performance as per requirements. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The details of the position are mentioned below:-

Education Qualification:-

Research Associate	Essential: MLIS degree in with 55% marks and NET/SLET/MPhil/Ph.D. in Library and Information Science. UGC NET qualified candidates will be given preference. Desirable: Working knowledge of any Linux operating system including command line. Knowledge of installation, configuration and maintaining digital collections on DSpace 7.x and it’s prerequisite software.

How to Apply:-

All interested and eligible candidates are required to send their duly filled scanned copies of application form in the prescribed format (Annexure I) along with self-attested scanned copies of original documents related to educational qualification, age, caste, experience etc. and are requested to submit it as a single merged PDF file through email to [email protected].
The online application should reach on or before 09th August, 2023. All the applications will be scrutinized by the duly constituted screening committee and shortlisted candidates will be notified/informed through Email.
Selection will be done on the basis of interview by the duly constituted selection committee.
Central University of Himachal Pradesh reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post at any time without assigning any reason if the circumstances so warrant. The right is also reserved with the University either to fill or not to fill the post and its decision, in this regard shall be final.
