HPPSC ADO Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess B.Sc. (Agriculture) under a four-year degree programme and M.Sc. (Agriculture) with Second Class from a College/University recognized by the State/Central Government/ICAR.
Desirable Qualification
M.Sc. (Agriculture) First Class or above is mentioned as the desirable qualification. Candidates should also have knowledge of the customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment under the conditions prevailing in the State.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 45 years. The age of the candidate will be reckoned as on 1 January 2026. Applicable age relaxation is provided in the official advertisement for eligible categories.
HPPSC ADO Salary 2026

HPPSC ADO Selection Process 2026
The recruitment process includes the stages prescribed by HPPSC. The selection procedure includes:
- Objective Type Screening Test / Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT), as applicable
- Personality Test
For the written selection scheme described in the advertisement, Paper-I is a one-hour objective-type screening test of 100 marks covering Himachal Pradesh General Knowledge, National and International Affairs, Hindi and English. Paper-II is a three-hour descriptive Subject Aptitude Test carrying 120 marks.

Negative Marking
