HPPSC Franking Machine Attendant (Post Code-981) Exam Date & Admit Card 2024:-The erstwhile HPSSC Hamirpur advertised 01 post (UR)=01 of Franking Machine Attendant, Post Code-981, Class-III in the Department of Printing and Stationary, vide advertisement No. 38-2/2022 dated 24.05.2022 and in response to this advertisement 56 ORAs were received. Consequent upon disbanding of erstwhile HPSSC Hamirpur, the task of completion of this recruitment was assigned to HPPSC. Now the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to conduct the Offline Screening Test for 01 post (UR)=01 of Franking Machine Attendant (Post Code-981), on 12-02-2024 ( 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM) of 02 hours duration consisting of 100 questions (bilingual) of multiple choice of one mark each, instead of 200 questions as notified in the advertisement issued by the erstwhile HPSSC Hamirpur, as the examination is being conducted as per Rules of Business of the HPPSC.

SYLLABUS

Following shall be the syllabus for written objective type examination for the said post:

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION The offline objective type screening test will be of 02 hours duration consisting of 100 questions bilingual of one mark each followed by four (A,B,C, & D) answer options. There will be negative marking for wrong (incorrect) answers (as detailed below).
i. There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
ii. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happen to be correct and there will be same penalty as above, for that question.
iii. If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

The e-Admit Cards of provisionally admitted candidates are also being uploaded on their e-mail ID(s) along with instructions to the candidates. The candidates will also be informed through SMS/ emails on their respective Cellular Nos./email ID(s) as mentioned by them in the Online Recruitment Application Form. In case any candidate is unable to download the e-Admit Card he/she can collect the same from the HPPSC office from 16th Jan., 2024 onward during office hours.
