SELECTION PROCESS:-
1. SCREENING / PRELIMINARY EXAM
Syllabus fort he post of Physiotherapist:– 80 questions to coverthe following contents of syllabus studied at Diploma/ BPTlevel:
1)Human Anatomy,
2) Human Physiology,
3) Pathology,
4) Pharmacology,
5)Psychology,
6) Biochemistry,
7) Basic Principles of Biomechanics,
8) Basic Microbiology,
9) Biomechanics and Kinesiology,
10) Foundation of exercise therapy and therapeutic massage
11) Exercise Therapy
12) Bio-Physics,
13) Electrotherapy
14) Medical/Physiotherapy Law and Ethics
15) Clinical Orthopaedics & Traumatology
16) General Surgery Including Burns, Plastic Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology
17) Diagnostic Imaging for Physiotherapist 1
8) Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics Physiotherapy in General Medicine & General Surgery,
19) Clinical Neruology,
20) Professionalism and Values,
21) Physiotherapy in Neurology and
22) Clinical Education etc.
10 questions consisting of GeneralKnowledge of H.P. including current affairs.
10 questions consisting of GeneralKnowledge of National/International Level including current affairs.
Education Qualification:- (i) Should be 10+2 with Medical Science or its equivalent from a recognized University / Board. (b) Should also possess diploma in Physiotherapy from Himachal Pradesh University or an institution recognized by the State Government. OR Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or its equivalent from HImachal Pradesh University or an institution duly recognized by the State Government. (ii) Should be registred with HP Paramedical Council.
Age Limit:- Between 18 years to 45 years. As mentioned against the post Clarification:- 1. Five years relaxation in upper age limit is admissible only to the bonafide S.C. of H.P. / S.T. of H.P. / O.B.C. of H.P. /W.F.F. of H.P. / Persons with disabilities of Himachal Pradesh. For H.P. Govt. employees and ExServicemen of H.P.; age relaxation is as per Government’s instructions issued from time to time. The age relaxation for these categories is available only if there is a post reserved for these categories. 2. Age of a candidate shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2022.
