HPSEBL Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026 for Female Candidates: Apply for 98 Apprentice Posts
Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) has released an official notification for 98 Apprenticeship Training Posts under the World Bank Funded HP Power Sector Development Program (HPPSDP). The recruitment is only for Female Candidates belonging to various engineering and non-engineering disciplines.

Educational Qualification
- Applicants must possess the required Degree/Post Graduation qualification in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- Distance Learning, Part-Time or Correspondence qualifications are not eligible.
- Candidates waiting for results are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (as on 31 May 2026)
- Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwD candidates as per rules.
Monthly Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹12,300 per month.
Note: No accommodation, HRA, conveyance, medical facility or any other allowance will be provided.
Training Duration
- Training Period: One Year
- No extension of apprenticeship will be granted after completion.
- Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee regular employment in HPSEBL.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on preparation of a merit list using the following weightage:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification in a ratio of 1:4.
Important Instructions
- Only Female candidates are eligible.
- Apply for only one discipline.
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship or have one year or more job experience after qualification are not eligible.
- Applicants must have a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Original certificates will be verified before joining.
