Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission today declared the final result for the recruitment of 03 post of OBC(UR) of Bandsman-cum-Guardsman (on contract basis) Post Code: 854, in the department of the ADG-cum-Commandant General Home Guards & Civil Defence, HP Shimla-1 and advertised vide advertisement No. 36-3/2020 dated 21.09.2020. In response to this advertisement, 491 applications were received, out of which 67 applications were provisionally admitted and rest of the applications were rejected due to non receipt of fee and other than advertised categories. The written objective type test was conducted on 06.07.2021 in which 04 candidates appeared and 63 candidates remained absent. Out of the 04 candidates 03 candidates were called for practical skill test which was conducted on 20.12.2021. Out of 03 candidates 02 candidates were not found eligible in terms of R&P rules after the scrutiny of the documents of these candidates and remaining 01 candidate bearing roll number 854000011 failed to qualify the practical skill test. Accordingly all the 03 posts of Bandsman-cum-Guardsman Post Code: 854 remained vacant due to non availability of suitable candidates. The result is also available on the official website of the HPSSC, Hamirpur. (http://www.hpsssb.hp.gov.in). While every care has been taken in preparing the result, possibility of inadvertent/technical error cannot be ruled out.
