HPU Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026: Walk-in Interview Schedule Released for Multiple Subjects

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates possessing the eligibility qualifications as per the UGC Regulations adopted by Himachal Pradesh University are eligible to attend the walk-in interview. Applicants must carry all original certificates along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification.
Important Instructions
- Reporting venue: Office of the Dean of Studies, HPU Shimla.
- Reach the venue at least one hour before the scheduled interview time.
- Carry updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), original certificates, testimonials and one set of self-attested photocopies.
- No separate call letter will be issued.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Guest Faculty remuneration will be paid on a lecture basis with a maximum monthly limit as prescribed by the University.
- The appointment will remain valid for the academic session 2026-27 or until regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process
The selection will be made through a Walk-in Interview conducted by Himachal Pradesh University. Candidates must satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions and complete document verification before appearing in the interview.
