Online Applications are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for the recruitment of following teaching & non-teaching posts in Himachal Pradesh University. The Online Application can be filled up from 27.10.2023 to 10.11.2023, thereafter link will be disabled. The candidates are advised to apply online well in advance to avoid rush during closing dates of submission of Online Applications. Important Instructions:-
- The candidates/applicants must read the INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY before uploading the information on Online Application for the relevant post(s).
- Date for determining eligibility of all candidates in respect of essential qualification(s) and experience, if any, etc. shall be the closing date of submission of Online Application i.e. 10.11.2023 (Closing Date).
- The candidates are advised to keep/write down the USER ID and PASSWORD, as the same will be applicable for all future reference.
- The candidates who had applied in response to the earlier advertisements viz. Advertisement No. Rectt. 17/2019 dated 30.12.2019, Rectt. 20/2020 dated 17.08.2020, Rectt. 21/2020 dated 07.12.2020, Rectt. 23/2020 dated 30.01.2021 and Rectt. 26/2022 dated 21.06.2022, where recruitment process could not be completed, are required to apply and submit hardcopy alongwith all relevant documents afresh in order to update their bio-data, on the online recruitment portal against the present advertisement. Hardcopies received earlier will not be entertained. However, such candidates shall be exempted from payment of application fee. Such candidates are further directed to login Recruitment Portal by using their earlier ID’s and PASSWORDS’ to avail the exception in fee. Otherwise they have to be registered as fresh candidate and full fee will be charged.
- The candidate(s) is also required to submit hardcopy after downloading the Online Application Form alongwith all the requisite relevant documents in support of the information uploaded in the Online Application. The hardcopy alongwith all the requisite documents for each post(s) should reach in the University on or before 20.11.2023 upto 05.00 p.m. However, for the candidate residing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Pangi and Bharmour Sub Division of Chamba District, Dodra Kwar Sub Division of Shimla District, Kinnaur and Lahul Spiti Districts of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receiving of hardcopy of Online Application Form shall be 26.11.2023 upto 05.00 p.m. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay. The hard copy of the online application form alongwith all relevant documents should reach in the office of The Deputy Registrar, Recruitment Branch, Gyan Path, H.P. University, Summerhill, Shimla 171005(H.P.) on or before the above prescribed last dates of submission of hardcopy. If the hard copy of the online application is not received within above scheduled time, the candidature of such candidate will be rejected forthwith.
- If the candidate is willing to apply for the same posts in different Department/Institution/ Centre, separate application form is required to be uploaded/submitted. The candidate must ensure before applying that he/she is eligible according to the criteria determined in the advertisement/UGC Regulations, as applicable. If the candidate is found ineligible at any stage or has hidden/suppressed the information or furnished false information, his/her candidature will be cancelled at any stage of the recruitment process and shall also be liable for legal action in accordance with the law.
