Qualification:-

Terms of reference / Duties & responsibilities
➢ Assist in scientific management of Conservation Breeding Programmes.
➢ Carry out Enclosures Enrichments in zoos and Pheasantries
➢ Formulation of diet based on ecological requirements and modern Zoo standards using nutritional analysis software.
➢ Assisting in designing new enclosures and re-designating wherever needed.
➢ Facilitate animal exchange programme with CZA.
➢ Making observations on the behaviorand biology of animals, assessing the compatibility of animals in groups/herds and maintaining meticulous record of the same, ensuring their upkeep and welfare including provision of special diet for pregnant females, nursing mothers ,new born/new arrivals ,infirm and sick animals . ➢ Maintenance of animal history cards and studbooks as stipulated in Recognition of Zoo Rules CZA .
➢ Gathering up to date information on behavioral biology and reproductive aspects of zoo animals and use the same for the refinement of protocols for animal’shousing, upkeep and conservation breeding programme .
➢ Recommending regulation of movement of visitor in such a manner that its impact on animals is minimum.
➢ Any other job assigned by CEO, HPZCBS related to Zoo management and Conservation
