Applications are invited in the prescribed format (available on the websites of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC, Gorakhpur) for the following temporary and contractual posts. Interested and eligible candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview on 12/07/2021; 9 am along with prescribed duly filled in application with one recent photograph and photocopies of the certificates/testimonials and the originals for verification before the Selection Committee at Conference Hall, 4th Floor, Regional Hospital, Dhalpur, Kullu–175101, Himachal Pradesh. The duration of the posts will be of “One year” which can be extended on yearly basis by ICMR–RMRC Field Station Keylong, Lahaul and Spiti (HP) under ICMR-RMRC Gorakhpur: –
Vacancy Details:-
1. Scientist–C(Medical)-01 Post
Education:-Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with 1 year R&D/ teaching experience in the recognized university, or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 4 years R&D/ teaching experience in the required subject after MBBS degree, or BDS degree recognized by DCI with 5 years R&D/ teaching experience in the required subject after BDS
2. ProjectScientist-B- 01 Post
Education:-MBBS/BDS degree from recognized University with 2 years Research/ Training experience
3. Project Scientist – B (Non – Medical) (Laboratory Scientist) Microbiology :-01 post
Education:-First class Master’s degree in biochemistry/ microbiology/biotechno logy /biological science from a recognized University or 2nd Class M.Sc. + Ph.D . degree in microbiology/biochemis try/biotechnology/
4. ProjectScientist–B(Non-Medical)/SocialScientist:- 01 Post
Education:-1 st Class Master’s Degree in Sociology /Medical Social Work or equivalent degree from recognized University or 2 nd Class M.Sc. + Ph.D. degree relevant subject from a recognized University or Two years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification
5.Project Technical Officer/Statistician:- 01 Post
Education:-Graduate in Statistics or relevant subject from a recognized university with five -year field/ lab experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject. *M.Sc./PG degree in relevant subject shall be treated equal to 2 years’ experience.
6.Project Data Entry Operator (DEO) – B -01 post
Education:-10+2 in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from recognized board, or DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized Institute and 2 years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU, or Recognized Institution or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications/IT/Comput er Science from a recognized Institutions/University. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on Computer .
7.Project Technician III:02 Posts
Education:-12th pass in Science subjects with one year DMLT and one year required experience from a recognized organization as Technician ‘B’ or Two years field/laboratory experience*. . *B.Sc. degree of Biological Science shall be treated as 3 years’ experience
8.Skilled/Semi – skilled/Unskilled worker:- 01 Post
Education:-Pass in High school or Equivalent from a recognized board.
Terms & Conditions
- Qualification & experience should be in relevant discipline/field and from an Institution of repute. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
- Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee the selection
- Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department / Organization are not eligible
- Candidates will be interviewed via walk-in mode (physically) only, and if selected they will have to produce/submit original documents of their qualification age and experience before joining. If they are not found entitled, their selection will be cancelled immediately
- In case of non-availability of candidate of the required reserve category then eligible candidate belonging to other category, such as SC to ST and vice versa, OBC to General on the basis of recommendations of the selection committee and future vacancy may be filled from the candidates of relevant categories
