Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a walk-in interview for one post of Assistant Project Manager in a District Disaster Management Authority Mandi funded project (IITM/DDMA-M/VD/325) at IIT Mandi.
Title of the Research Project: Development of low-cost landslide monitoring and warning system.
Project details: In this project, we intend to develop low-cost landslide monitoring and early warning system. We also intend to deploy the developed landslide monitoring system in the landslide-affected areas in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The Assistant Project Manager would oversee, plan and coordinate the deployments and maintenance of systems at different locations.
Minimum qualifications: MBA in relevant areas with a minimum 60% marks.
Desirable qualifications: 1-year managerial experience in disaster management, especially in the disasters of hilly areas (e.g., landslides).
Joining date: As soon as possible.
Position: Assistant Project Manager
Salary: Maximum up to INR 28,000
Duration: 1-year, and extendable to maximum 3 years based on performance
