Two Postdoc positions in Indian Knowledge System and Mental Health Applications at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, India
Eligibility :-Ph.D. (or waiting for thesis defense after thesis submission) with quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals and an excellent academic record throughout. Benefits: Benefits include medical reimbursements, a yearly research grant, an attractive salary commensurate with experience, and House Rent Allowance (HRA) if campus accommodation is not used.

About IITs The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are India’s top engineering and research institutions that attract the brightest Indian talent in science and engineering. The IITs are governed by the Indian Institutes of Technology Act, 1961, which has declared them “institutions of national importance.” They have a common admission process for undergraduate admissions, using the very selective Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE). The qualification rate of the JEE-Advanced in 2017 was approximately 0.92% (about 11,000 out of 1,200,000 who applied for JEE-Main). The IIT’s Mandi campus is in the scenic hill town of Kamand, Himachal Pradesh, India. Kamand provides an excellent vacation spot for those loving natural beauty, and it experiences mild summers and cold winters. The Kamand township is just 2-3 hours before the Himalayan resort of Kullu and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, once considered “the end of the habitable world.” The location is in the lower Himalayan Mountains on the banks of river Uhl, a tributary of river Beas., Himachal Pradesh, India. Kamand provides an excellent vacation spot for those loving natural beauty and it experiences mild summers and cold winters. The Kamand township is just 2-3 hours before the Himalayan resort of Kullu and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, once considered “the end of the habitable world.” The location is in the lower Himalayan Mountains on the banks of river Uhl, a tributary of river Beas. This is a full-time position for a fixed term of 24 months, with the possibility of an extension for another year.
