Applications are invited from Indian citizens for three (03) position of Project Associate-I, and one (01) Project Scientist -II/Research Associate in a Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India -funded project at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Mandi in collaboration with IIT Guwahati and CSTEP, Bengaluru.
1. Project Associate-I
Eligibility: Minimum eligibility criterion:
i) Master’s degree in Economics/Statistics/ Environmental Science/Climate Science/related area with 55% marks or CGPA 6.
Desirable: i) Basic understanding of climate change and related issues
ii) Good communication and writing skills
iii) Experience in data analysis
Upper age limit 35 Years
2. Project Associate-II
Eligibility: Minimum eligibility criterion:
i) Ph.D. in Environmental Science/Climate Science/Engineering/ related area or Masters in Engineering or Technology with 55% marks or CGPA 6.
ii) Three years of research experience in areas related to climate change
Desirable:
i) Experience in climate modeling, especially climate extremes
ii) Good communication and writing skills
Upper age limit 40 Years
Last date of application: 2 August, 2022
