Applications are invited from Indian citizens for one post of Project Associate – I in a Life Sciences Research Board (LSRB), DRDO funded project (IITM/DRDO-LSRB/VD/301) at IIT Mandi.
Title of the Research Project: Human performance enhancement via tDCS in VR and performance forecasting via machine learning methods Project details: In this project, we intend to investigate the different possibilities through which tDCS can be employed to enhance human performance in cognitive processes like visual search, cognitive control, and dynamic decision-making. We also intend to apply state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for predicting the extent of cognitive enhancement by taking demographic, cognitive, behavioral, and neurophysiological variables into account.
Minimum qualifications: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and related areas with a minimum of 60% marks/6.0 CGPA.
Desirable qualifications: Candidate may have a valid NET/GATE score; publications in machine learning areas are desirable; Experience in machine learning, programming experience in Python, statistical analysis, and good command over the English language.
Joining date: As soon as possible.
Position: Project Associate – I
Salary: Maximum up to INR 12,400
