Applications are invited Project Associate under Himachal Pradesh state agricultural marketing board (HPSAMB) with the following details:
Title of Project: Engineering design improvisation of packaging material leading to market friendly prototypes that retains Fruit quality
Investigator(s): Dr. Mohammad Talha, School of Engineering, IIT Mandi Dr. Shyam Kumar Masakapalli, School of Basic Sciences, IIT Mandi
Position: Project Associate (02)
Salary: INR 20,000/- per month (consolidated)
Duration: Six months with extension based on the performance until end of project.
Essential Qualification:
Position 1: Candidate should have first class in B. Tech./M.Tech degree in Aerospace/Applied mechanics/ Mechanical/ Structural engineering or equivalent with exposure in finite element modelling, ANSYS/ABAQUS, composite materials, Computational solid mechanics, etc.
Position 2: Candidate should have first class in B. Tech./M.Sc/M.Tech in Agriculture/Plant Sciences or equivalent with exposure in plant physiology and relevant laboratory/analytical skills.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 32 years for both the position (relaxable for exceptional cases).

Terms and Conditions:
- The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience.
- The nature of the post is purely temporary, and does not entitle to any permanent post at IIT Mandi.
- Interview will be held at IIT Mandi • No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
- IIT Mandi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates from those satisfying advertised qualification and requirement of the project post
- Should be able to join at the earliest, if selected.
