IIT Mandi Project Technician Recruitment 2021
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a walk-in interview for one post of Project Technician in project funded from the Department of Environment Science & Technology (DEST), Government of Himachal Pradesh (IITM/DEST-HP/VD/240) at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi.
Title of the Research Project: Public perceptions of air-pollution and the development and testing of a low-cost air-pollution sensing and warning system.
Project details: In this project, we intend to develop low-cost air-quality monitoring and early warning system. We also intend to deploy the developed system in a number of polluted areas in Himachal Pradesh, India.
Minimum qualifications: B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering or allied areas with a minimum 60% marks.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in web technologies, circuit design, Python programming language, and machine learning. Strong writing skills in English.
Joining date: As soon as possible.
Position: Project Technician
Salary: Maximum up to INR 12,400 + 8% HRA as per Institute norms.
Duration: Up to 1-year or till the duration of the project.
