Applications are invited from Indian citizens for one (01) position of Senior Project Associate and one (01) position of Project Scientist -II in a Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India -funded project at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Mandi in collaboration with IIT Guwahati and CSTEP, Bengaluru.
1.: Senior Project Associate
Eligibility: Minimum eligibility criterion:
i) Ph.D. in Environmental Science/Climate Science/Agricultural Science/Economics/Engineering other relevant discipline Or Masters in Engineering or Technology with 55% marks or CGPA 6 and four years of research experience in areas related to climate change
Desirable:
▪ Experience in climate modeling, especially climate extremes
▪ Good communication and writing skills
2.Project Scientist II
Minimum eligibility criterion:
i) Ph.D. in Environmental Science/Climate Science/Agricultural Science/Economics/Engineering other relevant discipline Or Masters in Engineering or Technology with 55% marks or CGPA 6.
ii) Three years of research experience in areas related to climate change
Desirable:
▪ Experience in climate modeling, especially climate extremes
▪ Good communication and writing skills
Candidates meeting the aforementioned qualification should send their latest CV, scanned passport-sized photograph, scanned copies of educational degrees and certificates (10th standard onwards), and experience certificates (if any) to [email protected] by 11 December 2022.
