India’s first ‘hybrid pitch’ established in Dharamshala

• धर्मशाला में हिमाचल प्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन (एचपीसीए) स्टेडियम अत्याधुनिक ‘हाइब्रिड पिच’ स्थापित करने वाला पहला बीसीसीआई-मान्यता प्राप्त स्थल बन गया है।

• यह नई तकनीक खेल को बदलने के लिए तैयार है, क्योंकि भविष्य के अंतर्राष्टीय और आर्डपीएल मैच इस अभिनव ट्रैक पर खेले जाएंगे।

•  नीदरलैंड स्थित ‘एसआईएसग्रास’, जो एसआईएस पिच्स समूह की कंपनियों का एक हिस्सा है, को भारत में पहली हाइब्रिड पिच स्थापित करने के लिए लाया गया है।

•  यह अत्याधुनिक तकनीक प्राकृतिक टर्फ को पॉलिमर फाइबर के एक छोटे प्रतिशत के साथ जोड़ती है, जिससे अधिक टिकाऊ और सुसंगत खेल की सतह बनती है।

•  प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, यह हाइब्रिड पिच तकनीक “अधिक टिकाऊ, सुसंगत और उच्च प्रदर्शन वाली खेल सतह”प्रदान करेगी। 

• एचपीसीए के अध्यक्ष आर, पी. सिंह ने कहा, “भारत में अभूतपूर्व हाइब्रिड पिच तकनीक का आगमन हमारे राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट के लिए एक गेम-चेंजिंग क्षण का प्रतीक है।”

•  The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium in Dharamshala has become the first BCCI-recognised venue to install a state-of-the-art ‘hybrid pitch’.
• This new technology is set to change the game, as future international and RdPL matches will be played on this innovative track.
• Netherlands-based ‘SISGrass’, a part of the SIS Pitches group of companies, has been brought in to install the first hybrid pitch in India.
• This cutting-edge technology combines natural turf with a small percentage of polymer fibers, creating a more durable and consistent playing surface.
• According to the press release, this hybrid pitch technology will provide “a more durable, consistent and high-performance playing surface”.
• HPCA President R P Singh said, “The arrival of unprecedented hybrid pitch technology in India marks a game-changing moment for our national cricket.”
