Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag has released a recruitment notice for the engagement of Para Cook and Para Helper under Jal Shakti Division Anni, District Kullu. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications in the prescribed format within the given dates.

Para Cook Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed the Matriculation examination from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.
• The condition of passing Class 10th from a Himachali school is not applicable to a Bonafide Himachali.
• The candidate should possess a Degree/Diploma in any trade from a Government-approved Hotel Management Institute, Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute.
• Alternatively, the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cooking/catering from any Government or private institution.
• The candidate must submit a separate affidavit stating that no family member is employed in any Government/PSU/Board job.

Para Helper Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed the Matriculation examination from a Board/University recognised by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
• The candidate must submit a separate affidavit stating that no family member is employed in any Government/PSU/Board job.

Age Limit

The prescribed age limit for both Para Cook and Para Helper is:

18 to 45 years

General Eligibility Conditions

As mentioned in the recruitment notice, candidates should fulfil the following conditions:

• Citizen of India.
• Bonafide Himachali.
• Having a sound mind.
• No family member of the candidate should be in any Government/PSU/Board job.
• The candidate should not have been involved in any act of criminal nature.
• The candidate should be medically fit to perform the duties.
• The candidate should be a permanent resident of the areas under Jal Shakti Circle, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process

The selection/evaluation criteria mentioned in the notification include the following:

The initial eligibility will be decided on the basis of marks obtained, relevant work experience and the category of the candidate. A separate communication regarding the skill/physical test will be made through newspaper publicity.

Documents Required

Candidates are required to attach attested/self-attested copies of the relevant documents with the application form. The notice lists the following documents:

1. Matriculation examination certificate from a school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh, wherever applicable.

8. BPL certificate not older than six months, if applicable.
9. Experience Certificate in the related field, if applicable.

• A quarterly self-reporting format will be submitted by the Para Cook and Para Helper.
• A consolidated report will be prepared at the end of every financial year for certification of satisfactory work and conduct.
• Unsatisfactory performance may result in termination of the engagement as per the prescribed procedure.
