Himachal Pradesh Jal Shakti Vibhag Recruitment 2026: The Jal Shakti Vibhag, Himachal Pradesh has released a recruitment notice for the engagement of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter and Multipurpose Worker posts. A total of 30 posts are notified under Jal Shakti Division Katrain. Eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed application form.

Vacancy Details

Educational Qualification

Para Pump Operator

Candidates should have a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) along with a certificate in the trade of Electrician, Wireman, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Pump Mechanic, Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic from a recognized ITI, or Matriculation with a certificate in the above-mentioned trades under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government.

Para Fitter

Candidates should have a minimum qualification of Matriculation (10th) with ITI certificate in the trade of Fitter/Plumber from an ITI/institute, or Matriculation with a certificate in the relevant trade under the Skill Development Scheme of the Government.

Multipurpose Worker

Candidates should have passed Middle Standard or its equivalent from a school duly recognized by the State Government.

For the Multipurpose Worker post, candidates must attach detailed marks of the Middle Standard examination. Where detailed marks are not issued by the concerned education board, the detailed marks certificate from the Principal of the school is required.

Age Limit

The applicant should be between 18 and 45 years of age as on 14 October 2026. The recruitment notice also mentions the applicable category-related requirements as prescribed by the Government.

• Skill test: 2 marks

Multipurpose Worker

• Percentage of marks obtained in Middle Standard: 6 marks
• Minimum six months’ experience in HP Government, Semi-Government organization or an outsourcing agency providing service in HP Jal Shakti Vibhag: 2 marks
• Physical test: 2 marks

Attested or self-attested copies of the required certificates must be attached with the application form.

How to Apply

1. Download or obtain the prescribed application form for the post of Para Pump Operator, Para Fitter or Multipurpose Worker.
2. Fill in the application form carefully with the required personal, educational and experience details.
3. Attach the required attested/self-attested documents and certificates.
4. Mention the post applied for clearly on the envelope.
5. Submit the completed application to the Office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Katrain.
6. The application must reach the concerned office on or before 14 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM.
