Jal Shakti Vibhag Kullu Recruitment 2026: The Jal Shakti Division Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, has invited applications for the posts of Para Cook and Para Helper on a fixed honorarium basis for operation of Rest Houses/Inspection Huts. Educational Qualification

Para Cook

• The candidate should have passed the Matriculation examination from a school or institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. The condition of passing Class 10th from a Himachal Pradesh school is not applicable to Bonafide Himachalis.
• The candidate must have a Degree/Diploma in any trade from a Government-approved Hotel Management Institute, Institute of Hotel Management or Food Production Institute.
• Alternatively, the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cooking/catering from any Government or private institution.

Para Helper

• The candidate should have passed Matriculation from a Board/University recognized by the H.P. Central Government.

Age Limit

The prescribed age limit for both Para Cook and Para Helper is 18 to 45 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must be a Bonafide Himachali.
• The candidate should be of sound mind.
• No family member of the candidate should be working in any Government, PSU or Board job.
• The candidate should not have been involved in any act of criminal nature.
• The candidate must be medically fit to perform the duties.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of the area under Jal Shakti Circle Kullu, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, including District Kullu and Sub-Division Lahaul of District Lahaul & Spiti.

• Matriculation certificate
• Degree/Diploma in the relevant trade, if applicable
• Bonafide Himachali Certificate
• No Family Member Government Job Certificate
• Character Certificate
• BPL Certificate, if applicable
• Medical Fitness Certificate not older than six months
• Experience Certificate, wherever applicable

All required documents should be attested/self-attested as prescribed in the recruitment notice. The department has stated that the experience certificate will be verified from the issuing authority and false or unsatisfactory documents will not be entertained.

Application Process

1. Download or obtain the prescribed application form.
2. Fill in all required details carefully.
3. Attach the required self-attested/attested documents.
4. Affix a recent passport-size photograph in the prescribed space.
5. Submit the completed application to the office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Kullu.
6. The application must reach the office by 13 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM.

Selection Process

Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for a skill test. The date of the skill test will be communicated separately after scrutiny of the documents by the selection committee. No TA/DA will be payable to candidates appearing in the skill test.
