Maharaja Sansar Chand-महाराजा संसारचन्द

महाराजा संसारचन्द काँगड़ा राज्य 1775 से 1823 के मध्य में कटोच वंश के प्रसिद्ध शासक थे। उन्हें चित्रकला की विख्यात शैली ‘काँगड़ा शैली’ को संरक्षण प्रदान करने के लिए जाना जाता है।

संसारचन्द को हिमाचल प्रदेश में नहरों के निर्माण के लिए भी याद किया जाता है।

Maharaja Sansarchand was the famous ruler of the Katoch dynasty from 1775 to 1823 in the state of Kangra. He is known for patronizing the famous style of painting ‘Kangra style’.
Sansarchand is also remembered for the construction of canals in Himachal Pradesh.
