Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for 01 (One) position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project titled “Through Package Carbon Nanotube Bundle Vias in Glass Interposer for Heterogeneous Three-Dimensional Integration” funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Hamirpur as per details envisaged below:

1) Name of the Post :-Junior Research Fellow

2) Qualification :-

First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in B.E.B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
First class with not less than 60% aggregate (or) not less than 6.5 CGPI on a 10-point scale in M.E. / M.Tech. Degree with specializations of VLSI Design/ Microelectronics/ VLSI & Embedded Systems or other relevant related fields.
The candidate must have obtained M.E. IM.Tech through GATE.

3) Emoluments :-Rs. 31,000/- PM (consolidated) plus HRA as per Institute norms

4)Nature of appointment :-The position is purely on contract basis with the initial appointment for a period of one year from the date of joining, extendable upto the project duration subject to the satisfactory performance of the individual and provisions under the project.

5) Project Duration:- Three Years

6) Age Limit :-Maximum age limit for JRF is 35 years as on last date of receipt of applications. Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 5 years for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)) and 3 years for OBC – Non-creamy layer candidates.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Institute’s website. No separate letter will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for appearing in further screening and selection process. No TAJDA will be paid for attending the interview. The last date of receiving applications is 24-Feb-2022 The date of interview along with the shortlisted candidates called for interview will be displayed on the Institute’s website or informed through email by the concerned PI.

Note: The selected candidate shall be encouraged to apply for PhD Programme of the Institute.
