| JRF | The applicant must have passed B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Energy/Electrical Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Thermal Engg./Power Engg./Renewable Energy/Power System etc. Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must have secured minimum GPA/CGPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60% marks in both Bachelor and Master degrees. Whereas, in the case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates a minimum GPA/CGPI of 6.0 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) • or 55% marks in both Bachelor and Master degrees shall be applicable. The candidate must have qualified GATE Exam at least once; thus, a valid GATE score is not compulsory. • The candidate having good knowledge of Fluid Flow/Heat Transfer and good working knowledge of CFD Solvers will be preferred |
How to apply: Interested candidates must submit a single PDF containing soft copies of their duly field application form (Annexure-I) along with brief resume and self-attested copies of the relevant certificates/documents to the SJVN Chair Associate Professor, Dr. Varun, through an e-mail addressed to: [email protected] The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the institute’s website. No separate letter will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for appearing in further screening and selection process. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The last date for receiving applications is 28/08/2023. The date of interview along with the shortlisted candidates called for the interview will be displayed on the institute’s website or informed through email. Note: Only candidates with an M.E./M. Tech degree in the relevant field as stated above are eligible for the position of JRF, and selected candidates will be encouraged to apply for Ph.D. Programme of the Institute as per the prevailing norms.
