Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in IIRS-ISRO sponsored project titled “Monitoring and Assessment of Mountain Ecosystem and Services in North-West Himalaya (Phase-II): Monitoring and Modeling of Hydrological Processes in Glaciated and Non-Glaciated Watersheds of North-West Himalaya” in the Department of Civil Engineering, NIT Hamirpur (HP) as per details envisaged below:

NIT Hamirpur Vacancy Details 2022 1.Junior Research Fellow JRF No. Of Posts:- 01 Education Qualification:- The applicant must have passed Bachelor and Post Graduate (PG) degree in engineering/Technology. Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must have secured minimum CGPA/CGPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60 % marks in both Bachelor and PG degrees. In case of SC/ST candidates a minimum CGPA/CGPI of 6.0 on a 10- point scale (or equivalent) or 55 % marks in both Bachelor and PG degrees shall be applicable. B Tech/BE should be in Civil Engineering or equivalent. M Tech/ME should be in Water Resources Engineering/ Hydraulics or equivalent The candidate must have obtained his PG degree through GATE/NET, however valid GATE/NET score is not mandatory The selected candidate will be encouraged to register for Ph.D. as per Institute rules.

The last date for the submission of application form is 23/07/2022. The date of interview along with the shortlisted candidates eligible for the interview will be displayed on institute’s website or informed through email. The candidates are requested to be in touch with the Institute website regularly. The shortlisted candidates may appear for the interview with complete bio-data and photocopies of certificates with original documents.
