Notice under Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE) for admission to Free Coaching of UPSC:- HPCU

Online applications are invited from the Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates ONLY for admission to Free Coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination (Preliminary & Main)2023 offered by the Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala under the scheme of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria for Students:

vi. The candidate must hold a graduate degree from a recognized Institution or possess an equivalent qualification.

vii. Age limit: 21 to 37 years

viii. Nationality: Indian Citizen

ix. Must be a Scheduled Caste (SC) Student

x. The candidate has not received any monetary benefits from any of the other schemes by Govt. of India, States/UTs or any funding agencies.

Selection Procedure:

Through Common Entrance Test Conducted by the Centre as per merit. The entrance test will be based on 100 MCQs with one mark in each question. The syllabus for the Entrance test is given below:

iv. General Studies (50 marks): Indian History, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, General Science including Science and Technology, Current Affairs, Sports and General Knowledge.

v. General English (25 marks)

vi. Numerical ability and Reasoning (25 marks)

Reservation of Female Students: 33% of the total sanctioned seat. In case sufficient number of eligible female candidates does not apply, University may allocate the vacant seats to male/transgender candidates,

Duration of the Course/Program: One Year

Note:The candidates enrolled under this scheme have to attend all the classes. In case of remaining absent for more than 15 days without any valid reason, or leaving the coaching class midway without prior approval of the competent authority, his/her enrolment will be cancelled. The total expenditure incurred by the Ministry on the candidate will be recovered from the student/candidate concerned.

7. Self-attested copies of Mark sheets and certificates from matriculate up to highest degree

8. Self-attested copy of Scheduled Caste (SC) Certificate

Last date of receipt of online Application form: 24″ June, 2022 upte 11:59:59 pm (mid night)
Entrance Test (100 MCQs): 31* July, 2022
Result Declaration of Entrance Test: 20″ August, 2022
