This festival is celebrated every year in the month of Phalgun (February-March) to celebrate the coming of the beautiful spring season. It is also called the yellow festival. Men and Women adorn their brightest costumes to commemorate the spring season and partake in the festivities. It is mainly celebrated in Pattan valley of Lahaul. During this festival people decorate their houses with marigold flowers.
