• हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने राजीव गांधी वन संवर्धन योजना को अधिसूचित किया।
• योजना के तहत सामुदायिक आधार पर जंगल लगाने और उन्हें बचाने का काम किया जाएगा।
• इसके लिए सरकार ने 100 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया है।
• चालू वित्त वर्ष में 20 करोड़ रुपये खर्च होंगे और लगभग 1500 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर पौधे लगाए जाएंगे।
• कैप फंड से सामुदायिक संस्थाओं को 5 साल तक वित्तीय सहायता मिलेगी।

• यदि पहले वर्ष 50% से अधिक पौधे जीवित रहे तो संस्थाओं को 1 लाख रुपये तक की राशि मिलेगी।
• सरकार का लक्ष्य है कि जंगल बढ़ाकर पारिस्थितिकी संतुलन बनाए रखा जाए।

• The Himachal Pradesh government has launched the Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana.
• Under this scheme, forests will be grown and protected on a community basis.
• A budget of ₹100 crore has been allocated for the scheme.
• In the current financial year, ₹20 crore will be spent and plantations will be done on 1,500 hectares of land.
• Community institutions will receive funds from a Cap Fund for 5 years. Financial assistance will depend on the survival rate of plants.
• If more than 50% of plants survive in the first year, the community will get up to ₹1 lakh per 2 hectares.
