Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Students in the final year or final semester of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 30 September 2026.
Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

SBI PO 2026 Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of three stages.
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
- Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive)
- Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise and Personal Interview
Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and Phase-III. Preliminary Exam marks will not be considered in the final merit list.

SBI PO Salary 2026
The starting basic pay of an SBI Probationary Officer is ₹48,480. The approximate annual CTC is around ₹21.97 lakh at the Mumbai centre. Selected candidates are also entitled to DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Medical Benefits, Leave Fare Concession, Pension benefits, and other allowances as per bank rules.
