सिरमौर प्रजामण्डल का इतिहास (History of Sirmaur Praja Mandal)
सिरमौर प्रजामण्डल का गठन वर्ष 1934 ईस्वी में सिरमौर रियासत में किया गया था। अखिल भारतीय रियासती प्रजा परिषद के प्रस्तावों से प्रभावित होकर सिरमौर में हिमाचल प्रदेश की सबसे पहली प्रजामण्डल संस्था की स्थापना की गई। इसके संस्थापक पंडित राजेन्द्र दत्त थे। उन्होंने इसका कार्यालय नाहन से पांवटा में स्थापित किया।
Sirmaur Praja Mandal was established in the Sirmaur princely state in 1934. Influenced by the resolutions of the All India States Peoples’ Conference, the first Praja Mandal organisation in Himachal Pradesh was established in Sirmaur. Pandit Rajendra Dutt was its founder. He established its office at Paonta after moving it from Nahan.

12 अक्टूबर 1930 को पंजाब तथा पहाड़ी रियासती प्रजा का प्रथम सम्मेलन लुधियाना में आयोजित हुआ। इसमें सिरमौर के पांवटा से सरदार भगत सिंह और दो अन्य व्यक्तियों ने सिरमौर रियासत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया।
The first conference of the peoples of Punjab and the hill princely states was held in Ludhiana on 12 October 1930. Sardar Bhagat Singh from Paonta in Sirmaur and two other individuals represented the Sirmaur princely state at the conference.
पंडित शिवानन्द रमौल और सिरमौर एसोसिएशन (Pandit Shiv Anand Ramaul and Sirmaur Association)
इसी अवधि में सिरमौर रियासत के पंडित शिवानन्द रमौल दिल्ली स्थित ‘सिरमौर एसोसिएशन’ के सदस्य बने और उन्होंने अपने आंदोलनकारी जीवन की शुरुआत की। रियासत के भीतर राजेन्द्र दत्त और उनके सहयोगी इस आंदोलन का संचालन करते रहे।
During this period, Pandit Shiv Anand Ramaul of the Sirmaur princely state became a member of the Sirmaur Association based in Delhi and began his activist journey. Within the princely state, Rajendra Dutt and his associates continued to organise the movement.
सिरमौर प्रजामण्डल की स्थापना (Establishment of Sirmaur Praja Mandal)
वर्ष 1934 ईस्वी में सिरमौर रियासत में एक अन्य सिरमौर प्रजामण्डल की स्थापना की गई। इसके संस्थापक सदस्यों में डॉ. देवेन्द्र सिंह, नगेन्द्र सिंह, रामनाथ और आत्माराम शामिल थे। यह हिमाचल प्रदेश की पहली प्रजामण्डल संस्था थी।
In 1934, another Sirmaur Praja Mandal was established in the Sirmaur princely state. Dr. Devendra Singh, Nagendra Singh, Ramnath and Atmaram became its founding members. It was described as the first Praja Mandal organisation in Himachal Pradesh.
