In addition to Basic Pay and IDA, selected candidates will be eligible for applicable allowances and benefits including allowances under Cafeteria Approach, HRA/company leased accommodation, Provident Fund, conveyance reimbursement, leave encashment, performance-related pay, medical facility, gratuity and contributory pension as per SJVN rules.
SJVN Recruitment 2026 Experience Requirement
These vacancies are meant for experienced professionals. The broad minimum post-qualification executive experience requirement is:
- Chief General Manager – E8(a): Minimum 27 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience.
- Deputy Manager – E4: Minimum 7 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience.
- Engineer – E2: Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification executive experience.
The notification also prescribes specific experience in the erection/commissioning and/or O&M of coal-based thermal power plants, including relevant experience in a Super Critical Thermal Power Plant of minimum 660 MW capacity. Candidates should read the post-wise experience requirements carefully before applying.
SJVN Recruitment 2026 Application Fee
The application fee is ₹500 + GST @ 18% and is non-refundable.

SJVN Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The SJVN selection process will primarily consist of the following stages:

- Personal Interview of Shortlisted Candidates
SJVN may also conduct a screening test if required to restrict the number of candidates called for interview. If conducted, the screening test will be qualifying/elimination in nature and will not carry weightage in the final merit. Final selection will be based on marks secured in the Personal Interview.
