Walk-in interview for Field Investigator in ICSSR Project-IIT Mandi
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a walk-in interview for the post of Field Investigator in a Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) funded project IITM/ICSSR/VD/317 at IIT Mandi.
Title of the Research Project: Evaluation of Risk Perception, Fear, Social Distancing, Masks, and Treatments regarding COVID-19 in India.
Project details: This project intends to investigate the people’s risk perception and fear of COVID and the authority as well as their attitudes regarding social distancing, masks, and treatments regarding COVID. This project aims to develop cognitive computational models of data collected about people’s preferences for treatments using theories concerning social and cognitive psychology in order to make the research outcomes useful and replicable.
Minimum qualifications: M.A./Postgraduate in social science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in designing and conducting online surveys, statistical data analysis, and publications. Good command over the English language and technical writing skills in English is highly desirable. Joining date: As soon as possible.
Position: Field Investigator Salary: Maximum up to INR 15,000 per month
