1.Post:-Technical Officer
Qualification: MSc Medical Microbiology with one-year experience in clinical laboratory services. Candidates with PhD Medical Microbiology from recognized university with 3 months experience in clinical laboratory services will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities
1. Participate in surveillance activities of National Program on Surveillance of Viral Hepatitis being run through NCDDC
2. Supervise the work of Laboratory technician under the guidance of the /Nodal officer/ Laboratory In-charge
3. Reporting to Nodal Officer/ laboratory In-charge/NCDC
4. Molecular testing where available
5.Preparation of SOPs and work instructions
6. Verification of reports generated in testing laboratory
7. Preparation of quality control (QC) samples
8. Preparation & distribution of proficiency panels (PT)
9. Inventory and financial document management in lab
10. Maintaining and monitoring timely calibration/verification of all devices and ensuring that all monitoring and measurements are done with devices having valid verification/calibration status
11. Adherence to Bio-safety guidelines
12. Maintenance of records and logs in laboratory
13. Disposition of non-conforming products in his/her area of operation
14. Help in conduct of teaching and training programs
15. Onsite field visit to district from time to time for mentoring and quality assurance
16. Any other duty assigned by laboratory In-charge
2.Post:-Laboratory Technician
Qualification:- DMLT two year course OR B.Sc in MLT from recognized university (preferred)
Emoluments:-25,000/- fixed and consolidated.
Job Responsibilities
1. Collect/ receive specimens in the laboratory.
2. Assist in sample transportation to referral laboratory as and when required.
3. Performs tests assigned as per SOPs and preparation of reports.
4. Storage and maintenance of serum samples as per guidance.
5. Testing of PT samples from EQAS provider state medical college labs and compilation of reports.
6. Perform regular internal quality control testing, EQA and their documentation
7. To maintain essential records in the laboratory 8. Inventory management for equipment and reagents.
9. Indent for supplies to the Laboratory through Lab In charge and ensure sufficient stock of Laboratory consumables is available.
10. Participate in trainings and workshops conducted.
11. Assist in molecular testing or any other testing of samples where required.
12. To ensure safety in lab. and follow proper biomedical waste disposals.
13. Any other work/ activity assigned from time to time.
3.Post:- Field Worker
Qualification: 10+2(12th standard) in any stream.
Desirable: Computer skills
Emoluments:- 20,000/- fixed and consolidated.
1. Packaging and transportation of sample
2. Ensuring carrying material for sample collection
3. Visiting outbreak sites for providing assistance to the outbreak response team
4. Documentation and filling up of required TRFs
5. Data entry and collation of data
6. Assisting the lab technician during testing
7. Any other task as required by the program
