AISSEE 2027 Notification Out: Apply Online, Exam Date, Eligibility, Fee & Exam Pattern
AISSEE 2027 Notification: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2027 on 03 November 2026. The entrance examination will be conducted for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 existing Sainik Schools, Class VI in 80 approved New Sainik Schools and Class IX in 40 New Sainik Schools for the academic session 2027-28.
The AISSEE 2027 online application process has started on 03 November 2026. Eligible boys and girls can submit their application forms through the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. The last date to apply online is 02 December 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates who miss the deadline can apply between 03 December and 06 December 2026 by paying a late fee of Rs. 500.

AISSEE 2027 Age Limit
The age limit for AISSEE 2027 will be calculated as on 31 March 2027.

AISSEE 2027 Educational Qualification
Class VI Admission
- Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age as on 31 March 2027.
- For New Sainik Schools, candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class V.
- Both boys and girls are eligible to apply.
Class IX Admission
- Candidates must be between 13 and 15 years of age as on 31 March 2027.
- Candidates must have passed Class VIII from a recognised school at the time of admission.
- Both boys and girls can apply, subject to the availability of seats for girls.
AISSEE 2027 Selection Process
The selection process for AISSEE 2027 includes the following stages:
- Written Entrance Examination (OMR-Based MCQ Examination).
- Preparation of Merit List.
- Medical Examination.
- Document Verification.
- Admission through e-Counselling.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
Candidates generally need to secure at least 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate. The minimum qualifying marks criteria are not applicable to SC/ST candidates for admission to existing Sainik Schools, as per the applicable admission rules.
The merit list will be prepared school-wise, category-wise, gender-wise and according to Home State and Other State quotas.
